WSP and HAAS Alert Announce Strategic Alliance to Accelerate the Future of Roadway Safety and Connected Mobility
Chicago, IL— 6/11/2026 — WSP in the U.S., one of the world's leading professional services firms, and HAAS Alert, the pioneer in automotive digital alerting and connected safety technology, today announced a strategic alliance to advance roadway safety, modernize work zone and fleet operations, and bring connected-vehicle technology to scale across the United States.
The alliance unites two organizations around a shared commitment to protecting people and a shared sense of urgency to transform the transportation industry faster than ever before. Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate across multiple dimensions, from equipping fleets with life-saving digital alerting technology to delivering comprehensive, end-to-end deployment and integration services for departments of transportation and infrastructure owners nationwide.
A New Model for Industry Collaboration
At the center of the alliance is a Master Services Agreement that establishes a dedicated and coordinated effort between the two companies, combining HAAS Alert’s transformational digital alerting solution Safety Cloud® and WSP’s engineering and advisory expertise. Together, WSP and HAAS Alert will offer agencies and infrastructure owners a single, streamlined path to deploy and operationalize connected safety technology in localities and communities across the country.
"This alliance reflects an inherent change in the air for our industry," said Elise Feldpausch, Senior Director, Intelligent Mobility Technology and Strategic Partnerships, WSP. "This work is no longer about isolated pilots or limited corridor deployments. By coming together, we're breaking down the old silos and proving that we are better together, delivering measurable safety outcomes and a clear path to scale."
"We're proud to take this step alongside WSP," said Brock Aun, VP of Product, HAAS Alert. "Building a safer and smarter transportation network requires us to forge a pathway forward for every community. With WSP, we now have a partner who can take our technology further than we ever could alone, and bring it to transportation agencies and fleet operators across the country."
Putting Safety to Work in the Field
As the first phase of the alliance, WSP plans to deploy HAAS Alert's Safety Cloud across its Midwest and northern California fleets in a pilot exercise, equipping its workers with lifesaving digital alerting and generating immediate access to actionable safety-impact data and insights. WSP will then plan to assess further expansion of the program across the United States, reflecting the company's belief in investing in technology to keep its people safe.
Expanding What's Possible for DOT Clients
Beyond fleet safety, the alliance positions WSP and HAAS Alert to jointly support departments of transportation and agency clients with a full suite of connected-mobility services including digital alerting program deployment and management, active work zone data validation, and integration of safety data into agencies' broader AI and data platforms.
The timing aligns with growing federal support for transportation digitization and connected vehicles, creating new opportunities for agencies to fund these life-saving deployments.
