CHICAGO, IL – 2/20/2026 – Today, HAAS Alert and Wanco, Inc. announced a major milestone in their partnership: New Wanco Truck-Mounted Connected Arrow Boards will now come equipped with Safety Cloud® by HAAS Alert. This integration automatically delivers real-time safety notifications, also known as digital alerts, to drivers through popular navigation platforms including Waze, improving driver awareness and roadside work zone protection.

“This marks a significant step forward in making connected safety accessible and automatic for every Wanco customer,” said Cody Nederostek, ITS Manager at Wanco. “By delivering Safety Cloud digital alerts standard with our connected arrow boards, we’re helping to prevent collisions and protect lives in work zones across the country.”

In addition to the standard Safety Cloud digital alerting capability, Wanco Arrow Board customers will have the ability to upgrade to higher tiers of Safety Cloud and Wanco’s Connected Pro service providing fleet-wide visibility, user accounts, advanced analytics, and additional options for broader connected safety programs.

“We’re proud to deepen our partnership with Wanco to make connected safety a default feature,” said Cory Hohs, CEO at HAAS Alert. “Together, we’re helping crews and drivers share the road more safely every day.”

HAAS Alert and Wanco are shaping the future of work zone safety through innovation and collaboration. By integrating Safety Cloud directly into Wanco’s connected arrow boards, fleets can activate real-time digital alerts the moment a device deploys, protecting drivers and roadway workers alike.
