HAAS Alert’s collision prevention service can now be activated on Verizon Connect’s fleet management solution, formerly known as Fleetmatics Reveal, without any additional hardware.

HAAS Alert is excited to announce an integration with the Verizon Connect Reveal telematics solution, enabling municipal and private fleets to add the Safety Cloud collision prevention service to their vehicles without any additional hardware. When fleet vehicles equipped with this integrated solution are actively operating in the roadway, Safety Cloud sends digital alerts to nearby motorists via popular navigation apps and vehicle infotainment systems.

Verizon Connect Reveal becomes the third global fleet technology platform compatible with Safety Cloud - joining Geotab (telematics) and Cradlepoint (wireless routers) as trusted fleet  solutions that can be used to activate vehicles on Safety Cloud quickly and cost-effectively.

Tim’s Towing & Recovery, a towing services and roadside assistance provider based in Savannah, GA, added HAAS Alert to their Verizon Connect Reveal platform to provide an additional layer of safety for their operators. “When my guys are dispatched to a roadside assist, safety is my #1 concern,” says Chad Yarbrough, owner. “I want to do everything I can to ensure they get home to their families at night. Sending an advance warning to approaching motorists will be a huge help.”
