Protect your most valuable asset — your crew
Being an emergency responder is synonymous with danger — but some of that risk can be avoided. The motoring public is operating their vehicles more distracted than ever. They're texting, fiddling with the radio, and eating a quick meal on the road. When your crew is responding on the side of the road, they are at their most vulnerable.
If an oncoming motorist averts their eyes for even a moment, the consequences could be tragic. But when you equip your apparatus with Safety Cloud, drivers will be notified directly of your crew's presence up to 30 seconds before reaching them.
Keep your community safe
Your community relies on first responders like you to keep them safe in a crisis. You rely on your emergency vehicle to get you there quickly and safely. However, if your vehicle suffers damage from a struck-by collision, it will need to be taken out of rotation for costly repairs. One less emergency on the road means less resources to keep your community safe.
Advanced warning from Safety Cloud digital alerts reduce the likeliness of collision with your vehicles by up to 90 percent. When your vehicles operate at peak performance levels, your crew is better equipped to serve the community.
Provide peace of mind
At HAAS Alert, we understand that responding on the side of the road is one of the scariest parts of the job. The data speaks for itself — every 60 seconds, 27 responders working on the road are at risk — that equates to 38,880 being at risk on the road every day.
But with Safety Cloud equipped in your apparatus, drivers will slow down, and move over before they reach you. It will help to reassure you that you'll make it home to your family every night. It's a priceless peace of mind.

What is digital alerting?
Digital alerting is an electronic notification sent directly to a driver. Emergency or roadside vehicles equipped with Safety Cloud send digital alerts straight to drivers through navigation apps or vehicle infotainment centers. These alerts notify drivers that there is an emergency vehicle or roadside worker nearby and they should slow down and move over.
R2R® Collision Prevention

Customer story

Equip Safety Cloud on any Vehicle
Fire and Ambulance fleets can equip Safety Cloud on any apparatus in three ways
The HA-7 connects with lightbars to automatically send digital alerts to drivers when your emergency lights are flashing. Customize your transponder to only alert on lighting patterns of your choice. Enjoy easy installation, upgrade capabilities, minimal down time, and no data plan.
Directly activate Safety Cloud on existing CAD, GPS, or telematics systems. HA-D uses a direct back-end integration to link existing devices with Safety Cloud. The service will know when lights and sirens are on and deliver digital alerts. Entire fleets can be activated with no additional installation or hardware necessary.
Responder-to-Responder (R2R™) alerts notify fire and EMS crews when other Safety Cloud-equipped vehicles in active response mode are approaching the same intersection. A set of lights attached inside the vehicle alerts operators that a potential collision is imminent. Add as an additional subscription to your Safety Cloud service for complete protection.
