Here at Dcode, we never seem to run out of reasons to celebrate the absolutely incredible achievements and opportunities our alumni companies continue to experience. The third annual PACFLT-MD5 Industry Innovation Fellowship has just been announced, and we are thrilled that three of our companies will be participating in the four to six week fellowship that kicks off later this month.

The alumni companies HAAS AlertFieldwire, and Stardog Unionare all sponsoring the participants and will help to advance and bolster intrapreneurship and innovation as a leading force for national security and defence.

The objective of this fellowship is to integrate these Sailors into specific companies that will provide them with the real-life experiences they need to boost DOD and Naval relations with industry. This means that through working with some of our alumni companies, the government is gaining access to some of the best and latest technology, which will better equip them to serve their important missions when they return to their roles.

The focus of the 2018 fellowship is Data Interoperability, so it comes as no surprise to us why these three companies were selected.

Stardog is an enterprise knowledge graph platform that will, regardless of structure, examine mass amounts of data and make it look easy while doing it. They will unify your data and turn it into actionable insight, without having to do anything more than download, query, and go!

Fieldwire exists to serve workers in the field, primarily in the construction industry, and offers a complete solution for lean project management. Their app does everything from managing communications to helping you reduce excess work. They synthesize countless types of information from construction sites, and have helped make more than 200,000 projects run smoothly.

HAAS Alert delivers responder-to-vehicle real-time alerts to motorists and vehicles. Designed for emergency crews, technicians and road operators, they provide interoperability for organizations and real-time traffic management tools for cities. Their dashboard can be used on any device with a web browser and they’ve recently announced a new partnership with a leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of emergency vehicles and school buses.

Once again, we are so proud of the good work our alumni are doing and we wanted to take a moment to congratulate them for landing the opportunity to welcome members of the Navy into their organizations, as we all work together to use our emerging technology to serve the nation.
