HAAS Alert is thrilled to announce that Lisa R. Robinson has joined the team as the Director of Government Contracts and Programs. Lisa will draw on her extensive experience in occupational and transportation safety policy to help expand Safety Cloud’sⓇ reach and connect communities to grant funding for digital alerting. Lisa will also lead and manage the company’s federal contracts for connected vehicle safety technologies. Lisa is an expert in her field of work and will amplify the voice of HAAS Alert in the marketplace, while helping to make the roadways safe for everyone.

Lisa has built a career on forming strong relationships within state government agencies through a variety of roles, most recently as a Senior Program Manager in traffic safety for the National Safety Council. There, Lisa was responsible for providing strategic direction for program impact and growth. She is well known for her passion when speaking and her ability to engage all types of audiences, large or small, virtual or in person. Making sure her audiences gain knowledge to act is important to Lisa in her speaking. She believes speaking with you, not at you, is key in developing a road safety and mobility solution that makes the roadways safer.

Over the last decade, Lisa worked diligently to educate people on the importance of road safety around the country. For eight years Lisa led the Our Driving Concern Texas Employer Traffic Safety and Drug Impairment Training for Texas Employer Programs, which strengthened companies’ driver and transportation safety programs by addressing the operational impacts of crashes. Her partnerships and efforts have supported municipalities and companies alike to make safety a core value. She will be the first to tell you that a one and done approach doesn’t work. Road safety solutions is an on-going investment in safety that benefits everyone, and HAAS Alert could not agree more. 

Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University and the designation of CFLE from the National Council on Family Relations. She also serves as a member of ASSP, PMI, Ntl. Grants Mgmt. Assoc., the National Association of Women Highway Safety Leaders, Impaired Driving Task Force, and TxPRIMA. In addition, she is a CPS Technician and Car Fit trained. 

HAAS Alert’s addition of Lisa is one step of many that the company has already taken to bolster its presence in the governmental area. The company has been awarded grants and prime contracts from multiple state DOTs and at the federal level with DOD, DHS, NHTSA, and most recently was awarded a DOT project for digital alerting CV2X for school bus pupil transportation safety.
