# HAAS Alert

> HAAS Alert builds Safety Cloud®, a digital alerting platform that warns drivers in real time when they are approaching emergency vehicles, roadside workers, tow trucks, work zones and other roadway hazards. Alerts are delivered up to 30 seconds in advance directly into vehicle dashboards (Stellantis brands including Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, RAM and Alfa Romeo) and navigation apps such as Waze, and are triggered automatically when a connected fleet vehicle activates its lights or a work zone is deployed. HAAS Alert is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, builds its HA-7 hardware in the US Midwest, and serves fire, EMS, law enforcement, towing and recovery, DOT, construction, utility and school bus fleets, plus automakers and infrastructure owners. In 2025 Safety Cloud alerted 369 million drivers across 309 million fleet-driven miles and 25 million protected incidents.

Key terms: "digital alerting" is an electronic notification sent directly to a driver; "Safety Cloud" is the HAAS Alert platform that delivers it; "Responder-to-Responder (R2R)" alerts warn equipped emergency vehicles about each other at intersections; "HA-7" is the HAAS Alert in-vehicle device and "HA-Direct" is a hardware-free activation through existing telematics (for example Samsara).
