For innovators in consumer technologies, there is no greater stage than CES. It’s a global event where breakthrough tech and next-generation innovations are introduced to the marketplace.
This year, HAAS Alert will be among the companies putting a spotlight on cellular V2V and the impact it’s having on connected automobiles, public safety and smart infrastructure. HAAS Alert CEO, Cory Hohs will be participating in two panels alongside industry leaders and sharing perspectives on cellular V2V technology and how it’s helping transform the future of public safety communication and connected smart cities.
Future of Connected Smart Cities
January 9 (9:00-10:00 AM)
Tech East, LVCC, North Hall, N256
Cities continue to grow and face more challenges with traffic congestion, citizen safety and infrastructure planning. How can cities and automotive organizations find the middle ground of leveraging this data for their citizens and for their customers?
Paving the Way for Connected Emergency Vehicles
January 11 (10:00-10:45 AM)
Tech East, Westgate, Level 1, Pavilion 9
In this panel discussion, we will discuss emergency vehicles connected with FirstNet broadband technology and how they can integrate with smart cities technology for a faster, safer response for the public as well as first responders.
Both of these panel discussions focus on the road ahead for connected vehicles. Cellular infrastructure has already laid the groundwork for R2V (Responder-to-Vehicle) and V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) communications to exist by giving us a means to move the data. Now, we’ve built the technology to allow emergency data to move through the HAAS Alert Safety Cloud™ to interface with smart city infrastructure. And, we’re working with policy makers to ensure responsible use of the data and greater public safety as these new technologies continue to grow.
